Hello, I'm so glad you're here!

I'm Abi, I am a 23 year old wife to be to 27 year old Callum. I was born in the south of England and now living in the south-west in the beautiful coastal city of Plymouth.

Throughout this blog i'm going to posting the ups, downs, ins and outs of all things me related. From the beginnings of our relationship, to our wedding that's coming up in March to everything beyond.

I grew up in the South of England in a town called Basingstoke and I've got 2 younger brothers that are twins (Yikes). I had a fairly normal childhood like most do, sat all my exams as I went through school and had absolutely no idea what I was going to do with my life. I did one year at college studying Health and Social Care before deciding it wasn't for me so I then started working full time in an opticians. Great, I finally had money!

During this time I thought I could be travelling, so in the summer of 2015 I did the Camp America programme which you can read about HERE

After coming back from America I enrolled into college and started a two year course in Art&Design (Photography) I felt like I had finally found my calling, I loved studying photography and learning all the techniques. Going back in to do my second year I learnt that one of the girls I had studied with was accepted into university based off her previous college grade and her one year of photography. I decided that's what I wanted to do.

After phoning round various universities I was accepted into the University of Plymouth to study Media Arts, a cross between Film, Photography and Sound. I was accepted on the Tuesday, moved 150 miles and found a house on the Friday and started lectures the following Monday. It was crazy!

Along the road I made many friends and found my soul mate, you can read our story HERE. I learnt a lot about myself, and other people and would never change my experience for the world. 

After 3 years of studying, partying and working alongside my degree, I finally graduated in September 2019 with a result of 2:1

After graduating I continued working and went full time with Specsavers Opticians and in April 2019 I decided to expand my career and moved across to Boots Opticians.
