In May of 2019 we had our engagement photoshoot. Being a photographer myself I dreaded being in front of the camera for once. It was a rare and exciting opportunity for us to get some quality photos together which we hadn't had before.
We chose the location of Bellever Forset in Dartmoor as we had camped at that spot back in the beginning of our relationship so it held a special meaning to us, we also had been a few times the summer before and had BBQ's with friends and the area is just simply beautiful. The river is great for a splash about and it's so peaceful with absolutely no phone service.
The photoshoot itself was great fun, we met Gareth from Eyecandy Photography at the woods, he knew exactly how to make us at ease and use lighting techniques to make our photos really pop. We were incredibly impressed with his professionalism and his ideas to push us out of our comfort zone.
It only took a few days before we had the photos back from Gareth and we were completely blown away. We have also hired him to take our wedding photos now so we're very excited for those!
